Design and build your own deck, using our premium-grade 1/16" thickness hard maple veneer from Canada.
This veneer is premium grade, rotary-cut, kiln-dried stock. Face sheets are virtually knot and blemish-free.
The trim size for Street Deck veneer is 9.5 x 34", the Long Board sheets are 12 x 48".
Colored sheets (dye-infused) are also available! The colors change frequently, so check back often.
A typical deck is made up of 7 layers of veneer, 5 long and 2 cross grain. We offer two set ups for long boards, 7-Layer Sets (5 long and 2 xband) and 9-Layer Sets (7 long and 2 xband).
This maple is grown in Canada, where the long cold winters allow the trees to mature slowly. The resulting tight growth rings produce a strong tree and of course, strong veneer. Sheets are available in 12 x 48 size for longboards, and for skimboards and larger projects, we stock more-than-double-wide sheets at 25 x 48"!
And now, we are offering another option, birch veneer! At 1/16" thick, birch is strong and slightly lighter than maple. It creates a board with more a lot more flex than all maple. If you are looking for a local alternative to bamboo, birch veneer may be the solution. Try building a 100% birch board, or mix a few sheets into a maple lamination to get the right feel. This is a new product for us, we encourage you to test this out.
