Terms and Policy

ROAROCKIT Skateboard Company is a family owned business. The reason we got into this was to have some fun and provide others with a new outlook on building skateboard decks and other laminating projects.

Privacy
Your personal information and email address will not be sold or used for anything other than communicating with, or sending your product to you. ROAROCKIT does not receive any credit card information through this website as our ecommerce provider, Internet Secure handles all transactions directly. (http://www.internetsecure.com)

Once InternetSecure receives all required information from the customer, the transaction is processed with the banks over private digital lines, not back out over the Internet.

InternetSecure employs redundant servers using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption for the secure exchange of data between our customers and the InternetSecure system. The system supports both 40 bit and 128 bit SSL encryption on virtually all browsers.

Shipping Options
Standard Ship (Expedited) is regular surface mail and takes between 6 and 14 days (longer for overseas). This is the most economical way to send a package to you, but it will also take the longest and is not a track-able or guaranteed service. At time of shipment you will be notified by email of your package number, however that is simply a receipt and the web information will not update until it is delivered to you. If your package does not arrive in 30 days after sending, a trace can be initiated.

Express Ship (Xpresspost) is usually sent by Air Mail for smaller, single orders. Heavier and multiple items will be sent by UPS. Both Xpresspost and UPS services are track-able and guaranteed. Delivery dates in North America are between 1 and 6 days, depending on distance between our shipping our point in Toronto Canada, and your address (overseas may take longer).

Shipping Costs
Shipping prices to these countries are available on this website by pressing the checkout button after selecting your item(s)*. You will be asked to fill in a form with your address so that the site knows what prices to show you. You will not be asked for any credit card information until AFTER you have seen the Standard or Express shipping options.

If you decide not to place an order at this time, you can reverse out of the checkout procedure or log off and no information will be submitted to us.

*If there is room in our standard shipping containers, we will do our best to bundle items together to get a better rate. Please email if you are ordering more than one item at one time. Shipping is based on size and weight, so this may or may not make any difference to the cost.

Orders to the USA that are valued at more than $200 will be subject to a $24.25 (plus applicable tax) Entry Prep Fee from UPS which will be collected by UPS at the time of delivery.

For some items, the ship costs are the same price for mail and courier, so we post the same price for both options, but will ship by courier.

Delivery
Orders are shipped within 2 business days after we receive notice from InternetSecure that your payment has been processed. All orders are shipped by either express or standard mail, depending on the option you choose. As noted above, multiple orders and heavier items (such as Uncut Veneer) will likely be shipped by UPS standard service.

Shipping Destinations
Roarockit products can be shipped to these countries: United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. If your country is not represented on this list, please contact us by email.

Payment
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS and DISCOVER credit cards and Debit or Check cards that display a credit card logo. All sales are completed in US dollars. International orders valued over $500 must be prepaid by wire transfer before goods are shipped. Canadian customers can use Canadian funds by placing their order by telephone, the daily bank currency conversion rate will apply.

Refund/Returns
Our refund policy is simple, if the kit is unused and complete you may return it for a refund, however you will pay all shipping costs plus the Re-Entry fee charged by Canada Customs (approx $48CA). What you will need is a Returned Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) from us via email before returning the product. Contact

Please Note: We are NOT able to refund any custom-made vacuum bags but will certainly replace a bag immediately if we determine that it is defective.

Product Guarantee
As this is a kit and requires a certain amount of skill to build, it is important to follow the directions completely. We can't replace any materials once the building process has begun. Following the instructions will result in a quality skateboard deck. While using your Thin Air Press: If it appears to be leaking, chances are good that the seal has not been pressed tightly enough. Remember, you are creating a vacuum with a very strong amount of pressure, and if there is even the tiniest air pathway open, the air will find its way into the bag. Before calling us, please check and double-check your sealed edge, as this is almost always the problem with vacuum bags not holding a vacuum. We recommend that you do a dry run (without any glue) to ensure you are familiar with the sealing process before pressing your project. We do not want to hear that your priceless and irreplaceable veneer has been ruined!

If you feel your product is defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving and we will do our best to replace any necessary items.

If your product arrives damaged due to shipping, contact the shipping company immediately and let us know within 7 days. We are not liable for damages incurred during shipping, but we will work with you to ensure that you receive a completely useable kit.
