THE WORLD'S FIRST PROFESSIONAL DECK BUILDING SCHOOL
Roarockit offers a range of building sessions, each one tailored to meet your building dreams! Choose to make a skate deck, pintail, or a more advanced drop deck, each course is designed to offer you the choice to build exactly what you want.
Using the best wood in the world for a skateboard (Canadian maple), you’ll learn how to laminate a 3 dimensional deck in a Thin Air Press, finish it, design and apply your own graphics (5 session builds only). Using Roarockit’s patented method, your quality deck will be entirely hand-made, using the power of vacuum, no power tools required.
As there is drying time between many of the steps, deck building requires multiple sessions to complete the stages. There are no formal sessions to book (except for the Holiday Groms@Roarockit session), come in during the days and times listed, please call ahead to ensure space.
Drop Deck Sessions
Due to customer demand, we are now offering a 5-Session 1' Drop Deck Build for builders who are aged 10 - 14!!!
Number of Sessions: 5 (12.5 hours total)
Times:
After School: Mon to Fri: 4 - 6.30 pm, you choose your dates.
These sessions are specifically designed for young builders to make a 1" Drop Deck (7 layers) instead of the standard skate or pintail design. During the 5 sessions, you will prep sheets of Canadian maple, glue up and press them in the ProBuilder-sized Thin Air Press, over a mold that you will customize to the size you need. You sand and finish the edges top and bottom, clear coat and apply a logo to finish up your board.

After School Street Deck or Pintail Build
Number of Sessions: 5 (12.5 hours total)

Learn the entire process of laminating, finishing and painting a Street Deck OR Long Board. No experience is necessary. Please Email to request a printable application form, or pick one up at our location.

KICK START SESSION
Number of Sessions: 1 (2 hours)

Accelerate the learning curve! Learn all the pro-tips on using the patented Roarockit process and build like a pro right off the bat. Book a 2 hour session and with your own kit, learn the ropes with one of our experienced instructors.
The sessions involve laminating your first deck properly, plus tips and tricks for completing and moving into the next level of building custom skateboard decks.
Cost: Kit plus $55 + hst
PRO-BUILDERS 1" DROP DECK
Number of Sessions: 3 (5 hours)

Use our mold and Thin Air Press to press up a 1" drop deck with an experienced Roarockit builder as your guide. You design the trimmed out shape, finish and clear coat.
Cost: $195 + hst

PRO-BUILDERS DOUBLE DROP

CUSTOM MOLD AND BUILD

Design and shape your own mold then use our Thin Air Press to press up a custom deck with an experienced Roarockit builder as your guide. You design the trimmed out shape, finish and clear coat.

CUSTOM MOLD AND BUILD PLUS KIT

This is the full Roarockit experience!!!
Using your own ProBuilder's Kit and working with our experienced builders, you design, shape and laminate your new custom deck.This option will give you the tools and knowledge to keep on building more custom decks in your own Roarockit TAP Kit. Ideal for those whose have never done this process before, and would like to do it right the first time!
Cost: $350 + hst

The Roarockit School is located at 880 Millwood Road, (corner of Sutherland Drive) in Leaside, East York (Toronto Canada). Accessible by TTC, parking available.
